This NaBloPoMo business with posting every day has led me some places I never expected to go, like my astrological sign and now a tarot reading. Some of you may be saying, it’s good that your mind is open and you’re trying new things! I call it scraping the bottom of the barrel. To-may-to, to-mah-to.
In related news, I have a shirt that says, “You say tomato, I say fuck you.”
Anyway, Merbear, Rara and Twindaddy all got their free tarot readings done, and who am I to argue with three of my favorite bloggers? Let’s go a barrel scraping, shall we?
Card 1 (Justice) : How you feel about yourself now
You are feeling that things will go your way, you believe in fairness and justice in all things.
We’re not off to a very promising start. As I’ve described many times, I don’t believe in justice or fairness.
If you are considering partnership issues, personal or professional, dealings will go well.
I’m not considering partnership issues, but thanks.
Perhaps you are about to sign a contract or legal document, this will be beneficial to you.
Nope.
If someone has done wrong to you it will be put right and you will feel justice has been done.
I’d really like to believe that comes true, but I just don’t see it happening.
Card 2 (Judgement) : What you most want at this moment
The cards suggest that what you most want at this time is a new start, to close this chapter in your life and have a brand new beginning. This is not a time for regret but for rejoicing.
That’s probably true. I would like a new job and maybe even a new city.
Rewards for past efforts will follow and you are sure to have many opportunities presented to you. Life will pick up a pace and the choices you make will have far reaching implications that could change your life dramatically.
All choices I make can have far reaching implications. I could decide to have unsavory tacos and get food poisoning, and while I’m using the bathroom, I slip and fall to my death. All choices have consequences, no matter how minor. That’s how the cookie crumbles.
Any legal issues should be ruled in your favour.
Card 3 (The Chariot) : Your fears
The word failure isn’t in your vocabulary.
The word failure is most certainly in my vocabulary. See? I just used it.
You are worried things are more of a struggle than you expected, with more delays and frustrations.
Things are always more of a struggle than expected. As Frank Sinatra aptly said, that’s life.
Things aren’t going to plan at all, just chill out, calm that mind of yours and you’ll find the strength to battle on until you succeed.
Did you just tell me to calm down?! Don’t you know that never works? I don’t really have a plan, so things not going according to it isn’t really a surprise.
This is a period of movement and change and conflicts ending in victory.
Victory! I want that chariot to ride into battle.
Card 4 (Wheel Of Fortune) : What is going for you
Call it fate or destiny but the run of good luck or good fortune you are experiencing or about to experience is mostly not of your doing – enjoy this time.
I wouldn’t call it fate or destiny since I don’t really believe in either. I don’t necessarily believe in good luck or good fortune either. A lot of things I experience are not my doing. I experienced rain yesterday and I had nothing at all to do with that.
If there seem to be a number of positive coincidences happening in your life this is known as synchronicity, go with the flow and trust it.
Card 5 (Temperance) : What is going against you
Life will seem hectic and full of challenges and you will find it hard to have the right perspective on things.
For the most part, life does seem pretty hectic and full of challenges, but when does it ever not feel that way? I can’t remember a time when life didn’t feel challenging.
You may have a rival in love or at work, and if so, question whether that person or situation is really right for you.
I don’t have any rivals. I am peerless.
This is a time for being calm and patient and life will soon have a sense of normality again.
Card 6 (The Moon) : Outcome
Whilst you are confused and fearful and allowing your anxieties to hold you back, trust that all will turn out well in the end.
I don’t trust much, and I certainly don’t trust that all will turn out well. In my experience, it rarely does.
Things may seem tough or confusing but stick with it, its right for you.
Well, I would agree that life is right for me. I don’t really have another choice, besides death or coma, so I’ll stick with it.
The Moon is a good omen if you are in a clandestine affair and helps guide us to open our minds to new and unexpected possibilities.
I’m not in any affair, clandestine or otherwise. My mind, as usual, is pretty open. I am doing this post so that proves it.
