Well, what do you know.

Three years! Thanks for reminding me,WP, because I wouldn’t have known otherwise. My timeline is all messed up since FOG started out at another site that rhymes with Frogger in 2009. Apparently, it was three years ago to the day that I clicked on the import blog thing and never looked back. Whoop-dee-shit!

In three years, I’ve written 559 posts (not including this one), two of which have been Freshly Pressed. In three years, FOG has been viewed over 50,000 times. There have been over 4,000 witty-as-shit comments from awesome people, over 4,000 likes and FOG has more followers than posts. More followers than posts. Wow.

Considering I haven’t done a lick of promotion for this blog, like, ever, that ain’t half bad. FOG doesn’t have a Facebook page, a Twitter account and I didn’t sign up for any of those bloggy network things. None of this blog’s subscribers are people I know in the real world. I like it that way. None of my real-world friends read this blog, because I would find that awkward. I haven’t met any of you in person, but you are all my WordPress family.

So, thanks, WordPress for making this my permanent home. And thanks to those of you reading this for reading this. Without you, it would be very lonely indeed. It would be like the early days again when I would sometimes approve spam comments to not feel so very all on my lonesome in the big bad interwebs.
